  10.  NOTICE TO THE USER ("licensee"): CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING LEGAL
  11. AGREEMENT. THE LICENSEE'S USE OF THIS SOFTWARE IS CONDITIONAL UPON
  12. COMPLIANCE BY THE LICENSEE WITH THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT.

  14. i).  S3AEMUL may be used on a royalty free basis.
  15. ii). You may copy and distribute copies of S3AEMUL in the same form
  16.      as you receive it, without any files being removed, altered or
  17.      added.  You may not copy it in any other form.
  18.  
  19.  Note: "S3AEMUL" consists of the following files: licence.txt (this
  20. user licence agreement), readme.txt (a documentation file), and
  21. s3aemul.exe, epoc.dll, epoc.rmi, hhserver.par, rtm.exe, and
  22. dpmi16bi.ovl (software files).

  25.                                COPYRIGHT
  26.  
  27.  S3AEMUL is protected by United Kingdom copyright laws and
  28. international treaty provisions. The licensee acknowledges that no
  29. title to the intellectual property in S3AEMUL is transferred to the
  30. licensee. The licensee further acknowledges that full ownership
  31. rights to S3AEMUL will remain the exclusive property of Psion PLC,
  32. and that the licensee will not acquire any rights to S3AEMUL except
  33. as expressly set forth in this licence. The licensee agrees that any
  34. copies of S3AEMUL made by the licensee will contain the same
  35. proprietary notices which appear on and in the original release of
  36. S3AEMUL.

  38.                           REVERSE ENGINEERING

  40.  The licensee agrees that he or she will not attempt to reverse
  41. compile, modify, translate or disassemble S3AEMUL, in whole or in part.

  43.                               NO WARRANTY
  44.  
  45.  BECAUSE PSION S3AEMUL IS LICENSED FREE OF CHARGE, WE PROVIDE
  46. ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
  47. EXCEPT WHERE OTHERWISE STATED IN WRITING, PSION PLC PROVIDE S3AEMUL
  48. "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED,
  49. INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
  50. MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE ENTIRE
  51. RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE PROGRAM IS WITH YOU. 
  52. SHOULD THE S3AEMUL PROGRAM PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU ASSUME THE COST OF
  53. ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION.

  55.  IN NO EVENT UNLESS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW WILL PSION PLC BE
  56. LIABLE TO YOU FOR DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST MONIES,
  57. OR OTHER SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF
  58. THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PROGRAM (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
  59. LOSS OF DATA OR DATA BEING RENDERED INACCURATE OR LOSSES SUSTAINED BY
  60. THIRD PARTIES OR A FAILURE OF THE PROGRAM TO OPERATE WITH PROGRAMS
  61. NOT DISTRIBUTED BY PSION PLC), EVEN IF YOU HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE
  62. POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY OTHER PARTY.
